5/21: On Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at Anderson Motor Speedway, a safety issue on the #88 truck was brought to the attention of the SEST Officials. The SEST Officials have reviewed the issue and have declared there was an infraction to the safety rules imposed by the Series.
While said infraction was not performance enhancing, the rule was put in place by the Series to help protect our Racer. It was a simple oversight by the Series during pre-tech and we also feel that it was an oversight by the #88 Team. In the end, we must stand by our rules.
With that being said, the Series has decided to impose a fine to the #88 Team with the loss of both points and money.
The win has been declared to the #22 Team. While the #22 Team will get the win, the Series has also decided to impose fines to this Team for the actions of a Crew Member that has been deemed unprofessional and detrimental to the sport. Again, we must stand by our rules.
